Somehow I managed to completely miss Walking with Dinosaurs live stage production until I saw a video of a man in an amazing full body T. Rex puppet throw the first pitch at a baseball game. I honestly thought it was CG until I noticed the puppeteer's legs as the beast ran off the field. It turns out there are a lot of cool videos out there featuring this work. The show will be performing in nearby Yakima this month (I figured Seattle, if I was lucky..), and I really want to go! I also really want one of those puppets!

I'll actually be headed to Sakura Con this weekend, but I'll just be attending as a guest.
