Hey, I really like the comic. It kinda stopped making sense when they found a log cabin restraunt at the begining of time, but whatever.

You're thinking too hard. I'm sure M.S. will explain everything that needs it eventually. Personally I'll be sad if Mantell & Dawn don't meet up again.

I got here from Sam and Fuzzy a while ago, and have been reading ever since. It's really good! I laughed muchly at chasing the baby pterosaurs. Please keep going!

I posted a while back, but this comic is still really enjoyable. I like the current "tattoo" story arc.

Google Reader recommended this RSS feed to me, and I'm glad it did. This comic has a nice charm to it. It almost feels like I'm reading it in the funnies in a newspaper, to be honest. It doesn't take itself too seriously and the main character conveys a lot of emotion for never speaking any language we can understand. I think I'm going to enjoy the misadventures of Dawn in the updates to come. :)

Oh, that's cool! At the moment the comic gets the #2 spot on my Google searches for Dawn of Time, it's interesting that Google actually makes recommendations, too. I have to admit I'm totally behind on RSS, I just know that I have it and some people appreciate it. :) What other sites do you suppose factor into the recommendation?

I really have no idea how RSS feeds work other than the fact that, when a now post is made, Google Reader tells me. I subscribe to a lot of webcomics, so I guess it figured suggesting webcomics to me was a good idea. I can't really say much about other RSS feed programs, though they probably work through similar means.

By the way, there are currently 91 people who subscribe to Dawn of Time with Google Reader. Not terribly popular, but pretty good considering it's been around for only about 6 months.

It's a lot better than my LiveJournal RSS reader with only 9 subscribers! :) That's interesting though, and it's cool that someone submitted it to Google (unless Google found it on its own?), suggesting that some reader submitted it for me. Can't complain about that!

Mantell and Owen are based on real people? Didn't know that.

Loosely based, at least! :) The most accurate thing about them is that Owen probably would abandon his colleagues in time if it suited his purposes.

Is that thing warm-blooded or something?

Yeah, it's snowing where I live and it sucks.

The question of dinosaur warm/cold bloodedness is not really at issue here, he's got that dashing fur cape!

Silly me for not paying attention. :p

So is the grey a part of a new look or what?

What grey? The blue tone the comic uses has been there since the first one?

It seriously looked grey on Wednsday but now it doesn't... huh.
Something with my monitor? I'll go ponder this.

There's an awful lot of blue lately. Sort of overpowering the comic.

Is it possible to read today's (04/01/09) comic without saying "Yonk!"? I say it is not.

Hello, I just wanted to compliment you and your work. Dawn just has some of the best facial expressions. Oh yes, I also wanted to thank you for the spiffy information on Pterosaurs. I never knew there was a carnivorous flying species the size of a giraffe. It's simply terrifying.
